They say there is no right way to grieve, but even so, Nicolas is pretty sure he’s doing it all wrong. Holding tight to the circumstances of his mother’s death and carrying the burden alone, the weight of his guilt has all but ruined his chances of moving on.
Determined to at least make his late mother proud, Nicolas puts his legal career on hold to help his aunt with her charitable foundation, expecting it to be nothing more than a simple favor—one he is hoping he won’t regret.
